God of Planes
Born in the year 23,437 as a human in the city of Gelonyne, Klydiel was recognised as a strong mage at an early age and was educated extensively in the ways of maguc until the age of 50. Upon achieving magical adulthood, Klydiel set about trying to discover if it was possible to tap into the energy of the Plane of Void in order to make his spells more powerful. He soon discovered that somehow there seemed to be no usable magical energy in the plane. Just as he was about to give up he found a small prism of concentrated magical energy. Pulling out of the Plane of Void and into Peregrine, Klydiel was immensely disappointed when the magical energy simply dissipated. In its place stood Eyrst, with proof that a human could survive in the Plane of Void.
Eyrst gave Klydiel a huge amount of information about the Plane of Void and Klydiel renewed his experiments. In the year 23,512 Klydiel succeeded in enabling himself to enter the Plane of Void. Unknown to him though, the gateway he had created remained open whilst he was in the void and unleashed huge amounts of destructive void energy into Peregrine. This destroyed nearly all the lands around.
When Klydiel returned he was immensely powerful. He soon mastered the art of travel between planes and even comprehended the nature of sub-planes. This led to him becoming a Demi-God. He now resides somewhere in the Great Marsh of Zyle.
